A large very hollow Red Quartz Crystal Geode pair
A large outstanding very hollow brilliant Red and Clear Quartz Crystal Geode pair in this listing.  This specimen
really stands out and the crystals are very glassy.  We purchased this great specimen along with many others from
a collector in Clark County, Missouri.  Although Red Quartz Geodes can be found in this area much smaller, this one
has been heat treated to bring out the Red Color.  He uses a heat treating process similar to how they turn Purple
Amethyst Geodes to a Citrine Orange color in Brazil.  No dyes or chemicals are used in the process and the color
is permanent.  This one was collected from a river near Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri.  It weighs 7 pounds 11 ounces
and measures about 21 by 15 by 14 cm.  Stock #167  price on this gorgeous specimen is $350

The giant Mushroom above.  That's what it resembles.  We were told by a local fossil collector that these are Fossilized
Sea Lilies that have been geodized.  By the weight of it, the interior will have a hollow cavity lined in either Quartz
Crystals or Agate or both.  You can use a diamond saw to cut it half and display it or leave it as is.  I would leave it
and display it as it is.  Fossil Geodes of this size are very rare from this area.  It was collected from a location where
we had to canoe down a river several miles near Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri.  This one weighs 10 pounds 7
ounces and measures about 25 by 15 by 14 cm.  Stock #032  price is $250 plus shipping

Above is a huge Museum Quality hollow cavity glassy Quartz Crystal lined Geode pair.  When this one was opened
the interior was full of crystal clear water and gushed out as the 2 halves were separated.  The two halves fit
together to form a complete geode.  Geodes of this size and quality are getting extremely hard to find.  We have
been hunting this area for over 30 years and the big ones are disappearing fast.  We have to travel several miles
by canoe to reach this area and then dig in the middle of the river to find them.  This spectacular specimen weighs
55 pounds 8 ounces and measures about 42 by 26 by 24 cm.  Stock #017  price is $550 plus shipping
